Exodus 20: 1-11

The 10 Commandments:

  1. You shall have no other gods before me.

  2. You shall not make for yourself a idol.

  3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.

  4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.

  5. Honor your father and your mother.

  6. You shall not murder.

  7. You shall not commit adultery.

  8. You shall not steal.

  9. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

  10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s property.

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want…..

Psalm 91

The Lord is my refuge and strength…...

Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all thee lands.  Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing…..

Psalm 118: 24

This is the day the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…..      

Isaiah 6: 8

Then I heard the Lord’s voice saying, “Whom should I send and who will go for us?  I said, “I’m here; send me.”

Isaiah 40: 4

Every valley shall be exaulted and every mountain and hill made low.  The crooked strait and the rough places plain.

Isaiah 41: 10

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Jeremiah 29: 13

You will seek me and find me when you search me with all your heart.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude.  Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 Corinthians 13: 1-13

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.  If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing………

Philippians 4: 13

I will do all things through Christ… who gives me strength, who strengthens me

2 Timothy 2: 11-13

The saying is sure: If we have died with him, we will also live with him; If we deny him, he will also deny us.  If we are faithless, he remains faithful for he cannot deny himself.

James 3: 13

Live well, live wisely, live humbly.  It is the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts.
